Risk & Privacy Policy

1. How the Platform Works

PLUG Launchpad is a non-custodial interface to the Solana blockchain. In practical terms:

  • Token launches — the Platform prepares a Solana transaction that deploys a token through the Pump.fun protocol. You review and sign that transaction in your own wallet; we never hold your private keys.
  • PLUG Vaults — escrowed token rewards are locked in an on-chain program-derived vault. Funding, acceptance, proof submission, release, and refunds are executed as on-chain transactions signed by the relevant parties.
  • Identity — your wallet address is your identity on the Platform. Optionally, you can link an X (Twitter) account through OAuth so KOL activity can be verified. We never see your X password.
  • Market data — prices, market caps, and volumes displayed on the Platform come from third-party data providers and public blockchain data. They may be delayed or inaccurate and are shown for information only.

2. Digital Finance & Digital Asset Risk Disclosure

Participating in digital finance carries significant risk. You should understand and accept all of the following before using the Platform:

  • Extreme volatility. Digital asset prices can swing dramatically within minutes. Tokens launched via bonding-curve mechanisms are among the most volatile assets in existence, and most lose the majority of their value. Past performance never indicates future results.
  • Total loss risk. Any funds you use to launch, buy, or escrow tokens can be lost entirely. Only ever use funds you can afford to lose completely.
  • Irreversibility. Solana transactions are final. There are no chargebacks, reversals, or recovery mechanisms for mistaken or regretted transactions.
  • Liquidity risk. A token may have little or no market. You may be unable to sell at any price.
  • Smart contract risk. The Pump.fun protocol, the PLUG Vault escrow program, and other on-chain code may contain vulnerabilities or produce unexpected results. Code executes exactly as written, including its bugs.
  • Counterparty and promotion risk. A KOL may not perform as expected; a promotion may have no positive effect on a token. Escrow arbitration decisions are made by the designated arbiter, not by automated fairness guarantees.
  • Wallet security risk. Phishing, malware, malicious dApps, and key mismanagement can drain your wallet. Always verify what you sign.
  • Regulatory risk. Laws governing digital assets differ by country and change frequently. Tokens may be deemed securities or restricted instruments in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for your own compliance and taxes.

3. The Solana Blockchain Ecosystem

The Platform operates exclusively on Solana mainnet. Solana is a public, decentralized network that we do not operate or control. Risks specific to the ecosystem include network congestion and outages, failed or dropped transactions, validator or consensus issues, changes to fee markets, and disruptions at RPC infrastructure providers. Any of these can delay or prevent launches, escrow operations, or data updates on the Platform, and none of them are within our control.

On-chain data is public by design: your wallet address, token deployments, escrow activity, and transaction history are permanently visible to anyone on the blockchain, independent of this Platform.

4. Information We Collect

We collect and store only what the Platform needs to work:

  • Wallet addresses — used as your account identifier and to associate launches, escrows, and profiles.
  • Profile data you provide — such as a chosen username or profile details.
  • X (Twitter) account data via OAuth — if you choose to link X, we receive your public handle and profile information from our authentication provider (Privy). We never receive or store your X password.
  • Launch and escrow records — token metadata, transaction signatures, escrow status, and submitted proof links (such as X post URLs), which mirror public on-chain and public social activity.
  • Basic technical logs — standard server logs (such as request paths and timestamps) used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

We do not collect government identification, bank details, or card details, and we do not run KYC. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How We Use and Share Information

We use the information above to operate the Platform: displaying launches and vaults, verifying KOL promotions, preventing abuse, and improving reliability. Information is shared only with the service providers required to run the Platform — such as authentication (Privy), blockchain RPC providers, market data providers, and hosting infrastructure — each of which processes data under its own terms. We may disclose information if required by law.

Remember that most Platform activity is inherently public: anything written to the Solana blockchain or posted on X is visible to the world and outside our control.

6. Data Retention & Your Choices

Off-chain records (profiles, launch and escrow database entries) are retained for as long as needed to operate the Platform. On-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone. You may disconnect your wallet at any time, and you can unlink X through your profile settings. If you want off-chain profile data removed, contact us via the X account linked in the footer; note that records mirroring public blockchain state may be retained.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect the Platform, including server-side verification of on-chain transactions before recording them. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot protect what we never control — your wallet, your keys, and the blockchain itself. Use a hardware wallet where possible, verify every transaction before signing, and be alert to phishing sites imitating the Platform.

8. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on the Platform is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and no content should be relied upon as such. Token listings and market data are informational. Decisions to launch, buy, escrow, or promote any token are yours alone, ideally made with advice from qualified professionals in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the date above updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

10. Contact & Related Documents

Questions about this Policy can be directed to us via our X account linked in the site footer. Please also read our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the Platform.
